Today we moved into the cabin!! Its a lot more than we expected! Just stunning inside.. I'll have more pics later of it. Open concept downstairs, with log furniture and little details to complete the rustic look. Upstairs in the loft is a big bed and two twin beds. Josie and Buddy are on one, Gunner on the other and Grandpa is downstairs. There is even a swing on the front porch! They stock it with bedding, some basic food, towels, dishes, etc. Its comfortable and cozy and it makes you dream of building a log cabin when you return home.
Josie and Buddy got to go on a horseride today! Josie found a horse
named Josie! She's white (and it seems almost every little girl wants to ride a white horse). Buddy had his heart set on riding RootBeer (also my favorite!) but he wasn't saddled up for rides today. Instead Scout, a great horse with a personality like Buddy was chosen. Buddy wanted the biggest horse there. (and Scout is pretty tall) I guess he doesn't
like to be tied up to the fence long so they have to move him around a lot. Yep... that's like little Bud Man! The ride lasted about half hour. Grandpa led Buddy's horse and Jerry led Josie's. (Gunner was in the front carrier and he and I walked beside them all snapping pictures as you can see!) 
Wendy came up around 5:30!
She brought us brats and baby socks! Jerry grilled up the brats and we started a fire and roasted marshmallows! We blabbed and blabbed and had Jerry and Grandpa not had to get up early to hunt, I am sure we would have stayed up later talking. Gunner absolutely loves her! She drove four hours to see us, so she'll be staying with us tonight!
