Days 6 and 7

Jerry and Grandpa are gone all day long now. I thought the kids would be bored, or be fighting, or I would be ready to lock them in the closet. But surprisingly.. its been great. We've taken walks everyday to see the animals, and we walk about 1/4 mile to do laundry- it makes for a good walk for little legs. The first time we walked down there the kids complained. Jerry told them later that day that they had to learn to walk looooooonnnng distances if they were to ever go Elk hunting. That did the trick! Today on our walk we got to the laundry building and Buddy says "hey! we got here without stopping! I'm ready to go HUNTIN!" hahahaha... We walk all over the campgrounds and I dont think they realize all the walking they are doing. Its beautiful- the walk to the laundry we pass a pasture with horses, geese, and today the miniature horse and donkey were there. They must be buddy's because we always see the two together.

Josie and Buddy manage to get completly filthy by the end of the day. Jerry bought them both Bow's and Arrows and yesterday Buddy had Josie shooting him in the butt. (the end of the arrows are the things that stick to windows. (ya, that took Buddy all of 20 minutes to figure out if he shot at the windows of the cabin they would stick!). They play in the dirt and had a "house" made for Buddy's army men, and all his cars parked outside because Josie said they were visiting.

Buddy and I played board games last night. I told him I didnt know how to play a few and he says "dont worry mom, I'll read the "destructions"!"

Yesterday while visiting the chickens, one of them grabbed the ring off of Josie's fingers. She started to cry. The chickens ran around fighting over the ring! It was so funny. They would push each other and one would drop it and the other would pick it up and run like away. We went to get someone to open up the pen and when we got back they were still running around. The one who had it got pushed by two others and he ended up losing the ring while he was running and it came flying out of the pen. So funny.

Its our last night in the cabin and sort of sad. Its so cozy in here. Jerry and Grandpa came back a bit ealy today because of the rain and now Jerry, Grandpa, Buddy and Josie are on the pull out couch bed watching Pirates of the Carribean.

Jerry and Grandpa have seen alot of moose and a few Elk. They both told me they dont care if they actually kill an Elk, They've seen what they came to see. Not sure if I believe them but they both look pretty happy right now. (well.. that and tired, walking up and down Mountains all day takes a bit out of you I suppose)
